Karamo Runs for Oakland County Commission District 10

Pontiac Educator Campaigns for Oakland County Commission Seat

Karamo Offers Conservative Contrast for District 10 Voters

Pontiac, MI [Immediate Release]: Kristina Karamo, Pontiac, will be on the August 7, 2018 primary election ballot to represent Oakland County Commission District 10.

“My campaign will focus on addressing the lack of quality jobs in the District, said Karamo. “Citizens should not have to leave their community to find well-paying jobs. Our community must have the opportunity to get job training to be prepared for the future. I am not a politician. Rather my sole purpose in running is to represent Pontiac residents so that citizens get the best value for the taxes paid.”

Karamo is co-host of the 14th District’s weekly podcast “Right on 14th” which is broadcast live on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. Listen at https://soundcloud.com/podcastdetroit/sets/right-on-14th or watch live at Facebook https://www.facebook.com/righton14th/.

This is Karamo’s first attempt for elective office, other than precinct delegate. She is an instructor at Wayne County Community College. Like her mother. Karamo is a graduate of Pontiac Northern High School and Oakland University.

“Kristina will be a terrific representative for the 10th District of Oakland County,” said Janine Kateff, 14th Congressional District Chairwoman. “As an educator, she knows what is needed to keep our communities on track. Her appeal to voters will be clear as she is an effective conservative and a fresh voice for Pontiac voters.”
